This has happened to each of us at least once: a search on something or navigating randomly and paf! where it became interesting, the site or the forum gives information to their members!
Register on a site or a forum, nothing to visit only once, it is boring (nickname, password x 2, email, captcha code, confirmation email that does not happen, ect…), even more so when the information may not be as crisp as it in the air! And not to mention the risk that the site or forum invade your mailbox of spam!
So what to do?
Here are 3 solutions:
Solution 1: Resurrect Pages Firefox addon
Resurrect Pages Firefox addon lets ressusciter a page that would be unavailable. In our case, we will use it for ressusciter of pages that need to be a member of the site or forum…
How does this work?
You should know that the net is come among others by bots (robots) looking for new… One of them particularly interests us: that of Google! The Google bots course the net and saves all the data he collects… These data are temporarily available via the Google cache. If the administrator of the site or forum has blocked some parties to the bot (via a special file called robots.txt) the bot will iterate through all pages and links on the site… What makes that if the administrator has not blocked the bot place where the information that you are looking for and which requires to be a member, then that can be revealed by visiting the cache Google's site!
Need you both on Firefox and plugins Resurrect Pages, available here.
After installation and restarting Firefox, it is simple to use!
When you get in a zone Member, just you do right click and click on "Resurrecting this page"… There, you have several options, click Cache Google.
What you need to know:
The Google cache gives you a picture, a snapshot of the site he saw at a time, it may be that the image dates back to several days.
To access the info, need you the info link, I said, because sometimes, you are redirected to their connection page. In addition, should be that the webmaster has not blocked the Google bot.
If you click on a link in the snapshot, you return to the original site!
Note: This solution is especially useful when you arrive on site after performing a search on Google.
Solution 2: The website bugmenot.com
The http://www.bugmenot.com site is a site, in English, sharing of login and password.
Usage is simple: you type the address of the site, and you look if there is a present and if it is still valid!
Identifiers come from people like you and me and who have decided to share their logins for precisely you avoid unnecessarily register! In addition, a voting system is available to tell other login researchers whether or not any particular login is still valid!
However, do not try to find paysites for the proper IDs is simple reason, the people who put their IDs know what they are doing! :-D
For example, all available for MegaUpload logins are all fakes (if the word green or Yes or * is this => they invented logins and passwords to have a max of votes…) attitude of kid…). Few paying sites that would be real and still active are just blank credit! ;-)
Edit 10/06/2012: A Bugmenot Firefox plugin exists!
Solution 3: Yopmail
With this solution, you register anyway, but at least, you transfer the risk of spam!
I have already talked about how to avoid spam on this article.
