2. Aukey (tpms) tire pressure monitoring system
Our cars which were mainly mechanical basis are currently crammed with high-tech electronics. Some cars have a tire pressure monitoring, others have not. And even if your car has one, it is not said that it is extremely accurate and gives you a pressure in real time! But know the tire pressure is crucial for your safety and that of others, but also for your wallet! A good tire pressure allows to use them less and consume less!

The test of the TPMS of Aukey
I knew of seen the tire monitoring system, more commonly known as tpms, which comes from the English and means who Tyre Pressure Monitoring System. But before that of Aukey, I to had never installed a. And there, I immediately something wrong with Aukey, is that for a neophyte, the manual is not nearly enough! Installation of the system is ultra-easy to anyone is there knows or has read a manual job which was well explained, but for anyone who never did issues may arise and cause installation problems! Even if the installation principle is simple: install the detectors on the valves and connect the screen on the cigarette lighter plug, there are concepts to know and unfortunately Aukey does not and I have therefore to discover for myself on the net. First of all, here is a list of the components supplied:
- 4 detectors
- 1 screen
- 4 nuts
- 4 joints
- 1 serre-ecrou
- and something else that I don't have a name, which is useful to maintain the detector or unscrew it.
The screen, ok, no worries. 4 detectors, okay, no worries. The 4 nuts, ok, no worries, it is indicated in the instructions, it is to be put before the detectors. This serves as an anti-theft and clamping. The big worry has been for 4 seals and the special object shaped saucer / wheel.

r: the worries was to find what the other side was… 4 seals, I thought it was for the tightness between the nut and the detector, except that they are a bit too big and pass through top nut when tightening! So when you are you are unfamiliar, one wonders if the joints are too large because error or if we wrong somewhere… Aukey, I knew that it was me that was wrong. The whole thing was to find what these joints were used… Well well after much research, because very few talk about it, the other side and 4 gaskets are related to very precise manipulation, which happens rarely, but still essential for the proper functioning over the life of the pressure monitoring system : change the battery of the detectors! I confess that I already asked me the question of how were powered detectors, but I had hoped that the movement of the wheels gave sufficient power supply for the system… well no, they're classics flat batteries that do the work! And here are the operating instructions which enlightened me on this subject and about 4 joints and the other side of the specially ded
icated to this purpose: Aukey would have the added the upper part of this manual for their record, this would have saved me from breaking my head to know what c orrespondait such and such stuff! Except this problem of instructions, the system works perfectly and gives you real time your tire pressure! In addition, the monitor has a USB port, allowing you to recharge your smartphone or your gps, or any other usb device! Results?
